General for injections

How does the session unfold?

Ideally, come to your appointment without makeup and schedule your session outside of any events.

We will discuss your wishes, take a complete medical history and agree together on the best option based on the situation, your wishes and your budget.

A careful examination is compared with the patient's request and expectations in order to clarify what is achievable and what is illusory.

In conclusion, the expertise of the doctor and nurse will advise you in the best way to find suitable solutions; the patient can decide at any time what they wish and benefit from the treatment

What should I do if I am not satisfied with the result?

The final result will only be visible after several days or weeks, depending on the treatment plan. The appearance of your skin may change daily before the injected product settles into its final position. After each treatment, I offer a free follow-up appointment to ensure optimal results. At this time, any necessary touch-ups can be performed.

If you have any doubts or questions after treatment, I am happy to answer them on a private number provided during the appointment for prompt attention.

What are the possible contraindications?

Possible contraindications for cosmetic medicine treatments are, of course, discussed during the initial consultation. However, here is a non-exhaustive list of contraindications:
- current pregnancy or breastfeeding
- any active autoimmune disease (rheumatoid arthritis, chronic inflammatory bowel disease, etc.)
- Herpes
- Cardiovascular disease

Also note that a period of 2 months must be observed between an injection of anti-covid vaccine and an injection of hyaluronic acid and vice versa.

How long does the treatment last?

Depending on the practitioner, the number of areas to be treated, the extent of the improvements to be made, and the possible need for anesthesia, an injection session can last from 20 minutes to 1 hour. In practice, there are several injection techniques, and each doctor/nurse will adopt their own method, adapting it to each individual case to achieve the best results.

After your injection session?
  • It is advised not to put anything on your skin that is not recommended by your practitioner for 12 hours following the treatment
  • Avoid dental treatments and any other type of cosmetic procedure
  • Avoid all sporting activities for 2 hours after the injections
  • Avoid sun exposure if there are post-injection bruises
  • Avoid extreme temperatures (intense cold, sauna or steam room...) for two weeks following treatment
  • Avoid anti-inflammatory drugs for 4 hours after the injections
How long does a botulinum toxin injection session last?

The botulinum toxin injection takes only a few minutes. The injection points and quantities are very precise and require an excellent knowledge of facial anatomy. These are determined in advance during your initial consultation.

Are there any special precautions to take after a botulinum toxin injection?

After a botulinum toxin injection, do not massage the treated area. Contract the muscles in the injected area for the first hour after the injection and avoid lying down or bending your head downwards. Avoid baths, saunas/steam rooms, and exercise.

What is the difference between botulinum toxin and hyaluronic acid?

Botulinum toxin and hyaluronic acid are two complementary treatments. One does not replace the other. Hyaluronic acid treats wrinkles by filling them. Botulinum toxin treats the muscles that cause the wrinkle to form. The two are sometimes used together.

Is the treatment painful?

Thanks to the use of ultra-fine needles and the application of ice just before treatment, patients feel almost nothing during botulinum toxin injections. A slight burning sensation or temporary pressure may be felt.

General for PRPs

There are no particular restrictions. Maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Is PRP treatment painful?

Because fine needles are used for PRP injections, discomfort during the session is minimal.

How long can plasma be stored?

Ready-to-use plasma is not stored at the clinic and should not be reused for the next procedure. Because blood platelets are rapidly destroyed outside the body, plasma is produced during the procedure and injected into the skin in a single injection.

How to prepare for the day of the procedure?
  • "If the procedure takes place in the morning, you must come on an empty stomach; you may drink water."
  • If the procedure takes place in the afternoon or evening, you can consume non-fat dairy products, lean meat, fruits and vegetables.

It is recommended to drink approximately 2 liters of water the day before and the day of the procedure.
Do not smoke on the day of the procedure.
