What is PRP?

Thrombocytes, better known as “ platelets ”, are one of the essential components of blood, just like red blood cells and white blood cells. Plasma  natural  liquid medium. Essential to the proper functioning of the human body, platelets are born in the bone marrow and circulate in the blood, where they play an important role in coagulation and healing.

Platelet Rich Plasma  ( PRP) comes directly from the patient's body from a blood test. It is isolated from red and white blood cells, with a view to reinjecting it.  PRP injections  have long been used, particularly in sports medicine and cell therapy, for their restorative and regenerative properties.

1 - PROCEDURE

→ PRP IS COMPLETED IN THREE STEPS.

Blood is initially collected from the arm and is then centrifuged to isolate platelets from red and white blood cells. With a fine needle, the PRP is then injected into the dermis or hair follicle in the area to be treated.

This is a so-called “autologous” method, a term meaning that the donor is also the recipient. PRP is therefore an enriched plasma which contains more platelets than normal. This method is therefore 100% natural
